Hey guys, I need some help choosing a chromebook (considering I'm writing this on a phone...)
Models in mind:
Acer chromebook 15
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T03KQ34/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_o95Bzb1EMH43C
Asus chromebook C301SA
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F57BPK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_095Bzb36QGBBA
Budget:
Around the $300 mark would be nice, both of the models I've been looking at are around there, so that's a + so far.
Performance and use:
A lot of video streaming.
Crunchyroll, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, the whole nine yards. Something that can stream well and looks nice would be perfect. I would have multiple tabs open but nothing crazy, maybe if I'm going on a shopping and comparing spree I'd have a bunch of tabs open but it would typically only be a video tab and a couple google tabs. I'd also frequently use discord but that's about it. I can't really think of many games id play unless hearthstone was released on google.
Android apps:
Don't really know much about this and Idk if I care. I have a phone if I want to play those type of games. Will this let me play hearthstone? If so it might peak my interest but other than that I have an iPhone so mixing with the play store doesn't really matter to me.
Functionality:
Don't need touch screen or anything fancy, just a clamshell will do fine. A nice screen and decent portability is what I need. With the models I have picked so far the Acer seems to be the biggest chromebook there is and idk if it's too big.
Build quality:
Something clean. The school models look flimsy and like a toy, but the models I've posted above look nice and solid. So nothing that looks too plasticky or cheap.

Concerns:
The Acer chromebook has way better accessories, like a shell case and keyboard cover and so far the Asus models doesn't have any I could find. Because of this the Acer would have been the easy choice but that model is really big and I don't know if it's just too big to be convenient. Because of this I decided to come here and listen to the opinions of the most knowledgeable chromebook people. If you have other models I should consider be my guest to suggest them. :)
Thank you for your time.
