The new Acer predator has what seems to be a nice cooling system. The optical drive it comes with can be removed to add another cooling fan if you need it. I'm not sure if it really does anything since when people took it apart all they found was a pretty cheap fan. Laptops that overheat would be a rather bad ending for myself. The Asus ROG runs at about $2200.00 with vapor cooling systems, and the Acer predator runs at $1999.99 (Both on Amazon). While reading reviews and reports on both companies and their "gaming" laptops it seems that the reports show that Asus has the best laptop over Acer while Acer has better reviews from people who purchased their machine. I currently own this: http://www.amazon.com/G750JW-QS71-CB-17-3-inch-i7-4700HQ-12GB-DDR3-Bilingual/dp/B00DIIGX8E/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1457983230&sr=1-2&keywords=ASUS+gtx+765 laptop which has gotten me through my first year in college but is really having a hard time working through what I am doing now.
