I came up with the same one and also see the conflicting documentation. I'm checking out of this conversation though. Down votes are flying around for myself and others that are trying to help.
I went with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C4W2AK4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and added a 3TB $99 Western Digital 7200RPM from local MicroCenter store for archives in my latest render farm server build (Processing 3 and some audio production/generation but mostly rendering Processing code and running Visual Studio etc. Oh and light gaming. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011D7AAA8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (ASUS STRIX Radeon R9 390 Overclocked 8 GB) in it too and intel 6600k so 3DMark2016 hits 10k at stock supposedly 14k OC. Haven't fucked with the OC on the motherboard (GigaByte GA-Z170X-UD5) or card yet to verify. Feels good though. Fast.
So far Sapphire Nitro, ASUS Strix, and [XFX Black Edition] (http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-1050MHz-Graphics-R9-390P-D28M/dp/B00ZFNPBSS/ref=sr_1_7?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1454280535&sr=1-7&keywords=r9+390). This would be my first time since 2004 getting a Radeon graphic card.
Do you think it'd get a better score with this card?
