Onkyo E700MB - Very bass heavy headphones, sometimes the bass can be a bit overpowering, but good for EDM/Techno etc.
Audio-Technica ATH-E40 - Don't know these all that well but heard they are good
Sennheiser IE60 - Warm sound signature, the soundstage isn't that wide but they are very relaxing to listen to and works well with most genres
Phillips S1/28 Fidelio(discontinued and therefore at a cheaper price) - Sound signature I'd say bassy with a good soundstage for IEMs.

Hey guys, I've little to no experience when it comes to headphones and was wondering if anyone could help me pick between the Audio-Technica ATH-IM70, the Audio-Technica ATH-E40 and the Audio-Technica ATH-IM50.

I'll be using these pretty much when I'm outside, or when I need to use headphones while wearing glasses, which is kinda impossible with my MSR7s. Primary source will be my Nexus 5 or my laptop.

Zero Audio Carbo Tenores

If you ever had a Yamaha EPH100, this is like a younger brother of it.
I guess you didn't have one so what should I say... hmm, a phenomenal mids for the price. Overall somewhat warm and a bit accentuated on the beautiful mids (vocals usually).
Don't let the price fool you. This one is legendary. It sounds 'lax' and 'lazy' while having all that detailing. Quite a tuning in itself.
Only con would be the chord. But for this price, you can get 2 (if one dies, you can buy another later) so longevity shouldn't be much of an issue considering my old one lasted two and half years.
<this is a gem of an iem in terms of sound quality. I have not seen such mids even in sub 500 dollar range iems>

This thing also has like a dedicated cult following it. Personally feel sound sounds 'better' (in terms of clarity, GR07 would win out by a bit) in terms of music enjoying due to its unique tuning. A masterpiece at its price range.

ATH e40
https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-E40-Professional-Monitor-Headphone/dp/B01AXSYFN6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482962285&sr=8-1&keywords=ath+e40
Weakness is its bad design. Apparently many people thought it was too big. So if you have small ears, look elsewhere.
Sound quality wise, probably sounds most 'realistic' in its price range. I don't think there's any in the market that can 'outperform' this under 100.
From here on out, I think you can truly state the entrance to 'luxury tier' in terms of sound quality.
Has a really good bass quality (but not strong bass. Just the 'quality' of the bass is pretty high standards)

GR 07BE like the previous post.
https://www.amazon.com/VSONIC-gr07-bass-GR07-Edition/dp/B00KM4N83K/ref=sr_1_1?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1482963044&sr=1-1&keywords=gr07+bass+edition
Great iem. Sure.
Longevity might be of concern though. Also, don't be fooled by the 'BE (bass edition)'. It's more of neutral than 'bass'. Weird iem naming that is but I guess the original GR07 was really really light on bass. That said, I do feel the Zero Audio Tenores sound musically better than the GR 07BE.

There's also the RE400 but I feel the Zero Audio Tenores just does its 'thing' better.

Overall, I think (biased) sound quality wise:
ATH E40 > ATH im07 > Zero Audio Tenores > GR07 BE > RE400
at this price range. Unfortunately, I do feel the Tenores, GR07 BE, RE400 has some reliability concerns.
Fortunately, the Tenores are half the price of the e40 and im07 so longevity shouldn't be of much concern. In case I forgot to point out, the im07 is getting an update (ath ls series). That said, the new models are probably going to be overpriced for now and the im07 does not seem to be suited for your taste. The im07 is a classical musical type listening purpose. Pretty neutral and low on bass and thinned out on the highs. I recommend the ATH e40 for your tastes if you could (and if your ears are hopefully big enough). Otherwise, I recommend the Tenores.

You might also want to read the reviews on Amazon though I know it isn't for your country. It should give you the pros and cons better of each iem.

Alright reddit:

Comfort must come first, before sound quality which is 2nd.

I'll only use them with my phone to listen to music on my way to work.

Hi everyone!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes,

I recently ordered the Shure SE15s and wasn’t a huge fan (mainly because the music was too loud) I have an iPhone 7+ and I️t seems like the Bluetooth adapter I got for them makes the music WAY too loud.

I used to have the TaoTronics Bluetooth workout headset and those worked well but I lost them and they weren’t the best at cutting out noise.

After doing some snooping on the issue others recommended some audio technica IEMs as they were a better value.

If I can get the Bluetooth thing figured out maybe they’ll be fine but wanted to get your guys’ input. I don’t know much about headphones but I️t seemed like the shure’s were a good recommendation on a few threads.

Though Bose ANC headphones are nice, they’re a little outside of my budget (~100) and also too big to bring to and from class and wear outside to class.

(Note: I already have the ATH-M50x and love them but they’re a little big to wear to and from class as well as kinda uncomfortable on flights when I️’m trying to sleep)

Not sure if anyone else ran into the same issues or has any feedback but wanted to get your guys’ POV. I have a tendency to overthink purchases so maybe I️’m just thinking about I️t too much!

Looking for headphones to use on-the-go and at my office.

Budget: +-$80

Source: Smartphone/PC.

Requirements for Isolation: I would like proper isolation for better listening experience and good, powerful bass. Boss talks to himself all day so isolation would be nice.

Will you be using these headphones in public? Yes

Preferred Type of Headphone: In-ear

Past headphones: Nothing fancy. Have a big pair of Monoprice 108323's at home; owned two pairs of so-called "rugged" GoGroove IEMs, both of which crapped out after two weeks. Currently using Android stock headphones.

Preferred Music: Synthwave, Boards of Canada, ambient, folk, retrowave, some instrumentals, prog rock, EDM stuff like Above & Beyond

What would you like to improve on from your set-up: Would like cleaner, brighter sound. More bass. I'm sick of tinny crappy headphones that die after normal use. Looking to step up my game and get really good

Considering these:

I own a LG V20 which has a Quad DAC. I mainly drive them with my Sennheiser HD 598 and looking for a earbud companion. I mainly listen to hip hop, but I'd like something good across most genres like my 598's. What do you think of these products and how do they compare against eachother?
