So far the Bose Sound True II for apple seems pretty good. Too bad the deal wasn't for the android variant of it :( https://www.amazon.com/Bose-SoundTrue-around-ear-headphones-II/dp/B0117RFX38/
Don't think Im taking a chance on those bose earbuds. All the reviews rip it's Build Quality apart. I mean IEM's are mostly plastic but how do you make it that bad lol.
Sennheiser 598's SE are back on sale for 110$ 10$more than the lowest. Pretty good if you want open back. https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-598-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B0126HISOO/
Pink Cloud II's for 75$ is pretty good. One of the best gaming headsets for your money. https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-PS4/dp/B00Y09G6H8/
Beyer Custom Street?!?! what are these? Bassier versions of the custom ones? Now even sure if it's a deal at 99$ https://www.amazon.com/beyerdynamic-Custom-Street-Headphones-Black/dp/B00UK7ZQXO/
Other than the usual cheap ass wood earbuds and shitty gamer headphones this sale seems kinda sad :(
So far pretty good for entry level stuff but that's the "amazon" usual so it seems with every big sale.
edit: So in 2 hours this is supposed to drop in price, anyone hear anything good about these? I might bite to try them out as I'm currently using shit for iems. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OQG7IC2/

Or use the MMX300 2nd Gen, or the 1st Gen.
Sadly don't have a link to them when I am at work.

>I thought my turtle beaches were balanced pretty well, I suppose something neutral?
Those are pretty bass oriented. Pretty much all Gaming Headphones are.
I would try the Beyerdynamic Custom Streets or Sennheiser Urbanites. The Urbanites have both on ear and over ear options. Both are 150 USD or less.

So I own the BD COPs, listen to everything electronic and metal, and since NO ONE could give me an answer to this, i decided to ask here.
Are the Beyerdynamic Custom Streets worth it? (@ ~100€)
Hi guys, I'm about to buy the Beyerdynamic Custom Street but I'm not very comfortable with the leather pads. I have not found much info if they can be replaced by velvet ones or whatever and if they are easy to change.
Link to the headphones https://www.amazon.es/Beyerdynamic-Custom-Street-Auriculares-color/dp/B00UK7ZQXO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1523272299&sr=1-1&keywords=custom+street+beyerdynamic
If someone knows about compatible pads it would be great.
Thank you very much for the help.
You can always up your budget if you want superior build quality. I gifted the DTX350 to some freinds before and they also said it lasts about a year when heavily used. If you use headphone often and "roughly" get something with better build.
Check out the Beyerdynamic Custom One Street
Strange, in my country the beyerdynamic custom street is 60€ : https://www.amazon.fr/Beyerdynamic-Custom-Street-Casque-Noir/dp/B00UK7ZQXO
If you want to buy it you should definitely try to buy it from Amazon France if they say that this headphone free-ship to US.
Edit : likewise the M40X is 98€ : https://www.amazon.fr/Audio-Technica-ATH-M40X-Casque-professionnel-d%C3%A9tachable/dp/B00HVLUR54
