Prices are kind of up across the board for headphones, but not dramatically.
BD DT880 or DT990 You'll hear about the 990's more often, but many also agree that the 880's are the star of that lineup; certainly the best all-rounder. If you decide to go with the 990's for the sharp highs for gaming, nobody's going to fault you.
AT AD900x
Fidelio L2 Often overlooked. The big brother X2's are getting hard to find under $200, but, if I spot some, I'll add them in with an edit.
Nope just regular 880 chromes.

DT880 are a brilliant neutral and detailed openback headphone, this chrome edition and the regular premium edition are acoustically equivalent but the chrome is being sold for a great deal rn (and looks better imo)
Better open back headphones generally need an amp. So some obvious choices, like the HD 600, aren't going to fit your budget.
How about the DT 880 Premium Chrome Version and a Schiit Fulla 2, Fiio E10k or FX Audio X6 to drive it?
