For the carpets i do 2 thing when i am in a hurry ill use:

Just spray some on the carpet and after a quick vacuum then do a good vacuum job this can take like 30 mins once you get the hang of it.

The second method is simple just follow the instructions it came with and this item usually goes on sale there are better ones that keep the water heated.

They also both give the car a nice smell after cleaning i don't have leather seats so i can say much about it.

Then polish the exterior and where is no tint with

The second step is a bit tedious so if you are not comfortable stick with step 1.

The thing that also really good to have is good clothes for cleaning the more the better Micro fibre cloth's are the best.

After wiping the class with step one and then its dry i usually just follow up with a dry microfiber cloth to pick up any little dirt i left behind.

You handled everything. I just have a few suggestions for the couch problem. I recommend either a professional cleaning or Bissell Multi-Purpose Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner.

They have mostly for pet urine but I'm certain it can help for human urine.

Is there a television facing the bed? You could try moving it somewhere food safe if there is, so they won't chow in bed. A spot cleaner might help with the stains and general messiness.

:-/ Your best bet is probably a Little Green Machine or a Spot Bot. They're about a hundred bucks, but they like magic and last forever! Sorry you pooped on your carpet.

Just tossing this out there: I cleaned my entire interior last weekend in a 16 year old Honda. I borrowed my friends carpet cleaner he picked up online for under $100 and it kicked ass.

It's a small steam cleaner. This one works pretty well

I had one of these for our old apartment for any stains from our dogs, food spills, or anything. You could also get this which is an enzyme cleaner and is pet and kid safe.

I have one of these to clean up cat vomit at my house. It does an OK job. Easy to fill and not too big. With the smaller reservoir I can refill it with hot water each time I need it and don't feel like I'm wasting the carpet shampoo. You do have to empty it and let it dry completely, though. Like all carpet cleaners, if you don't it will get musty.

Go to target/Walmart/wherever now and buy this machine

With a pet you’ll be thankful for it later, but for the short term it’s a carpet cleaning wetvac. Use it to re-wash the places that you did before and it will clean and suck all the remaining liquid right out.

This machine is a little miracle with a let. My cat barfed brick red cat food all over my daughter’s light gray carpet, and it sat there all day while we were at work. You’d never know it had been there.
