I have an iRobot Scoomba. How well does it work? Well let's just say I don't even use it anymore.
I have hardwood floor throughout my home and the best thing for cleaning is my Bissel steam mop:

Way easier than a regular mop and bucket or a Swiffer, and its a vacuum too so if you've floors don't have too much dirt or pet hair you don't even have to sweep first. Just vacuum as you mop.
