Blades of Damocles is the one you definitely want to read.
Don't be confused by the "Space Marine Battles" tag, half of the narrative is told directly from the perspective of Farsight and other Tau and is basically essential if you want to know what led to him becoming so distrustful of the Ethereals and Tau culture in general.
The Space Marine side is also written refeshingly different (high death count and lack of characters with sticks up their power armoured butts) and with Cato Sicarius acting like an absolute ass and being called out for it by everyone as the absolute highlight. Heck, it even makes "I, CATO SICARIUS!" canon, in case you were still wondering if the book is a must-read (it is).
Great novel in general and I hope Kelly writes more, he has a knack for it.
