Oh - and I am currently reading Bliss
I am not very far into it as yet, but it is proving to be pretty damn good, so far. My husband recommended it and he is almost always spot on with what constitutes a good book, having worked for years in a book shop and being an avid reader himself. When I had only read a few pages, I already wanted to share everything I had read so far with everyone I know, but - well, I guess I just need to pass it on when I'm done reading it.
Edit: I am ordering "The Dead" by Joyce - seems like a book I would enjoy, thanks for sharing.
Edit2: Just chatting with my ol' man about "Bliss" and I do think this is top of my recommendations. I seriously recommend that you read it. Beautifully crafted novel.
