Someone beat you to it
I am a mental health counselor and believe that we struggle with various psychological issues that are outside of the Lord's design. We are broken people and live under the curse of sin and death. Naturally, the church resists the notion that we could actually need help outside of "more prayer and greater faith." However, medication and counseling are often used by the Lord in powerful ways. I witness this all the time.
And could it really be that the Lord is GLORIFIED in our weakness? In 2 Corinthian 12:9, Paul writes, "9And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong."
The Lord has abounding grace for us in our weakness. And it's NOWHERE even close to an issue of your faith. Jesus is so kind and even in our weakness His grace is sufficient.
I'd encourage you to read this book:

It's written by Dr. Paul Meier. He is a prominent Christian psychiatrist. The book talks about medication, brain chemistry, and God. A very easy read.

BTW, I am not affiliated with the Meier clinics in any way. I just think very highly of their work.
