Sorry I can't find the exact ones but I use these bluetooth headphones I found on Amazon that I use for the gym. It has magnets on the sides also. They're pretty good for how cheap they are. She should give them a try! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kXcECbCPA6VKG

u/Grummond · 7 pointsr/headphones

They're not really worth it any more. There are so many great sounding BT sets that are much cheaper and offer similar functionality.

I recently bought these for $22 and am amazed at the sound quality:

This is exactly how I got the confidence to start lifting as a woman.

Need some cheap Bluetooth headphones with great battery life? I highly recommend [these bad boys] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06ZYX6Y1T/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1521388811&sr=8-2-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=Taotronics+bluetooth&psc=1)

u/thenerdal · 5 pointsr/Android

There's plenty. TaoTronics cost around $30 and have APT-X, AYL Qy8 cost $26 and also have APT-X. More higher end, with more battery life is the MEE Audio X7 Plus at $80, also with APT-X.

There's also the Sony SBH80 and Jaybird's X2's that come down in price usually around the $50-$70 range.

You should actually read reviews/use them before saying things.

These lasted me about 8 months before I stepped on them and broke em. Used them pretty much 8 hours a day at work and at the gym. Really good quality for the price.

u/sabatoa · 3 pointsr/running

> Jaybird X3

Those get a lot of positives here, but I use these at less than a quarter of the cost and I love them. Good sound, they never fall out during long runs or short, I can receive and talk on calls mid-run. I don't think you can beat them for the price;

*edited to add- these are strictly bluetooth headphones. There's no storage.

u/SloppyDuckSauce · 3 pointsr/GooglePixel

I use these: https://smile.amazon.com/Headphones-TaoTronics-TT-BH07-Waterproof-Cancelling/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1521927378&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=taotronics+bluetooth+headphones&psc=1

Sound quality is absolutely standard but they put up well with sweat and the magnetic backs are great for keeping them around your neck when you need to take them out for something. Battery life is pretty good too.

u/jokerswild_ · 3 pointsr/iphone

(a non-facetious answer): If the headphone jack truly is broken - and not just full of lint (check by digging in it with a toothpick) you have a couple of options. The fact that Apple has removed the headphone jack on current phones will work to your advantage now.

You could buy some bluetooth headphones (anything from airpods to cheap $20 Chinese headphones on amazon. I have these and they work pretty well: https://www.amazon.com/Headphones-TaoTronics-TT-BH07-Waterproof-Cancelling/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T )

Or you could get a set of lightning earpods (from apple - the apple site is being updated right now so I can't get a link but these: https://www.amazon.com/Apple-EarPods-Lightning-Connector-iPhone/dp/B01M0GB8CC )

or you could use your current headphones with a 3.5mm->lightning adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Lightning-3-5mm-Headphone-Adapter/dp/B01LXJFMGF

I had the exact same question here last week, ordered some of these Taotronics, loving them so far.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06ZYX6Y1T/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525788914&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=taotronics&dpPl=1&dpID=3141lBOmcGL&ref=plSrch

Only complaint that goes with the territory is that they make a sound every time you move. This seems like it would really bother you, but for some reason it doesn't.

u/Mowglli · 2 pointsr/GalaxyS8

Thank you all for the recommendations! I've added them to my wish list and will try each as the former ones die.

Here's some more info on what I'm looking for from a previous post that got down voted-

I liked the AKG braided cable feel a lot. Eventually they broke and I used the S7 headphones which I loved but I had to buy in packs of 3 since I broke them every couple weeks. The 'wing anti slip sport hook' silicon tips were extra awesome and [I prefer that style-] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01NAU0DE3/ref=mp_s_a_1_28?ie=UTF8&qid=1520287198&sr=8-28&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=S7+headphones)

Eventually those ran out and I read in a thread that [these Panasonic in ear buds] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E4LGVUO/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1) were
good and tried those, which worked for a while but had Meh build quality.

I've got these taotronics Bluetooth wireless ones that I hardly used that I need to actually get used to charging - but might get the [single airpod style off brand bud] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B078H8Z2DK/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1520287402&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Wireless+in+ear+headphones+single&dpPl=1&dpID=31HuB%2ByDpZL&ref=plSrch) that are selling for $20 just to avoid the wires-

The most Infuriating thing and my biggest complaint is my wires getting caught in random shit and being ripped out of my ears. I essentially listen to no music, and only listen to podcasts and NPR and YouTube.

So-

  • better build quality, harder to break than S7 ones

  • good at staying in ear like the s7 winged style

  • braided or just less tangle prone wire like AKG stock ones

  • good for podcasts, not necessarily high quality for music

What would you recommend? Under $30 if wireless

    Also the latter question.

    Sorry for the wall
u/thegenericchen · 2 pointsr/Tools

$20 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06ZYX6Y1T?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

They last me about 6 hours of continuous use. I sight in pistols and high powered rifles and they work just as well as my $150 shooting ear buds. Water/dirt proof. Also magnetic so they snap together around the neck, or if I'm crawling around and stuff I can just throw them onto the nearest metal surface.

u/Hodorhohodor · 2 pointsr/Android

For anyone who reads this and hasn't found a good sounding pair of Bluetooth earbuds or doesn't know where to start, try these. If you mainly use earbuds they will surprise you. I've since moved on the the much more expensive jaybird x3s and honestly sound quality wise, the Taotronics are very close.

u/xsmasher · 2 pointsr/bayarea

TaoTronics Bluetooth headphones; they fit snug, have great sound, and are cheap.

u/IlllIIIIIIlllll · 2 pointsr/gadgets

I bought these https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Headphones-Wireless-Earphones/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T

to use with my android and they don't seem to have much delay at all, and it doesn't look like it supports low latency. I never noticed the delay at all. I played a video on VLC and delayed audio by 150ms and played it through my normal speakers to see if maybe I was just deaf to the delay and there the delay was definitely noticeable.

u/syaami · 2 pointsr/ADHD

I have these taotronics and while the sound quality is great, if you have small (or shallow?)outer ear canals, I would not recommend it. They are very heavy and keep falling off :( my ears also have to COMPLETELY DRY for them to not fall off.

Works for Boyfriend and he says they’re pretty good at isolating noise. First one stopped working but was under warranty and company was nice to send another one for free.

u/ieataquacrayons · 2 pointsr/pelotoncycle

I bought these, for $20 they are still kicking strong after 6 months of wilpers.

These are some cheapy earbuds but they work enough for my needs (not an audiophile). I always have had problems with earbuds falling out of my ears, not with these.

Any in-ear buds would be fine, it's a matter of finding the right fit tips, most come with 3 sizes of tips, these are what I use. Etymotic Research (a great brand, we used them in the lab for a lot of our equipment) offers custom fit ear tips if you don't find a comfortable fit.

Been a Xiaomi earphone user for about two years. First with the Piston 3 and now the Xiaomi Hybrid's.

On that note, I am now looking for a bluetooth option. I'm starting gym tomorrow and I really need something convenient with good enough battery life and most importantly, sound. I really like the sound in the xiaomi earphones and since I don't understand much about earphones, I've decided to ask you guys for an opinion.

For what I've seen on amazon, some of the best sold/best overall rating are some of these:

TaoTronics Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

[Here](https://www.amazon.com/Headphones-TaoTronics-TT-BH07-Waterproof-Cancelling/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T/)

Mpow Flame Bluetooth Headphones Waterproof IPX7

[And Here](https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-Headphones-Waterproof-Cancelling/dp/B0753GRNQZ/)

Which seem well reviewed. Any other suggestions? I'm looking for something under 30/20 dollars.

I have had these for more then a year for working out everyday they blow my jaybird x2 which broke and freedom f5s out the water.

u/bernath · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

I had a pair of TaoTronics BH-07 which I really liked and used every day. Unfortunately they just quit working last week after 9 months. They were cheap and I was really rough with them so I'm not too upset.

I just got the TaoTronics BH-16 which I like even more because they seal into my ears better and the wire is thinner so it doesn't snag when I turn my head.

u/OneMoreAlwaysOneMore · 1 pointr/iphone

I can absolutely recommend these ones. I've know others to have them as well, all are impressed. Perfect for work are they're magnetic so you can just clip them around your neck easily.

I’ve used these for a year or so and love them for disc golf and general exercise:

Bluetooth Headphones, TaoTronics Wireless 4.2 Magnetic Earbuds, Snug Fit for Sports with Built in Mic TT-BH07 (IPX6 Waterproof, aptX Stereo, 6 Hours Playtime, cVc 6.0 Noise Cancelling Microphone) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Q6XMAb73RSWQ4

Only $26 and tbh they sound better than $130+ BT headphones I’ve owned (Jaybird X2s and Jaybird X3s). They’re super reliable and use a standard micro USB port for charging.

u/PartySwole · 1 pointr/Fitness

Gym time is me time. Put on some head phones. I recommend investing in some bluetooth ones and just get pumped up and immersed into your workout. I've heard some people that do better with podcasts, but I personally need something upbeat.

u/2seven7seven · 1 pointr/neoliberal

Whoops, misread that. How about these, or these, or these, or these

u/TheGremlyn · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I have these TaoTronics in ear and now these Cowin over the ear. Would recommend both.

The Cowins are even on a lightning deal right now!

TaoTronics TT-BH07 are great and even a great price.

u/Hogpharmer · 1 pointr/Fitness

I have problems with earbuds staying in my ears too, but I’ve had good luck with these
https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Headphones-TaoTronics-TT-BH07-Waterproof/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1541885277&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=taotronics+tt-bh07&psc=1&smid=A2KUZVNQ9LP7N9

They have three sizes of ear pieces and hooks so you can get a good fit. As it turns out, my ears are slightly different sizes, so I have to use different sizes for each.

u/pyrogny · 1 pointr/USPS

As far as the headphones go, I wouldn't buy anything too expensive. I bought https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Headphones-TaoTronics-TT-BH07-Waterproof/dp/B06ZYX6Y1T and removed the little ear clips. They're fairly comfortable, the back of each earbud has a magnet so they stick together, and the battery lasts 8+ hours. I originally bought them as a backup pair for a more expensive pair, but to be honest I like them better than the more expensive ones.

u/Cube2116 · 1 pointr/xxfitness

I love these headphones. Cheap priced and great quality sound.

u/cantlikethat · 1 pointr/rheumatoid

Yeah! These are what I like to use, but I'd only recommend them if your grandma is technologically-inclined since they are bluetooth connection only. I like the bluetooth/wireless option because I am constantly changing positions trying to get comfortable, so no cords = no hassle. I can use them in any position, even when I'm laying down on my side with one ear on the pillow they are still comfortable for me. If you think she is more likely to use the headphones while sitting up/not laying down, the kind that go over your ears with soft ear cups are what I'd go with, but I don't have a recommendation for that style since I don't have a pair. You could try researching over at /r/headphones, I'm sure they know much more than I about headphones/earbuds, especially regarding price vs quality and things like that. Best of luck!

edit: every single person replying has some niche case reason to hate these changes. You're bitching about changes that are meant to improve general consumer electronics. Those products aren't meant for you. If you can't convince yourself to ditch a tape deck, then modern electronics aren't meant for you. You're probably still bitching that you had to ditch dial-up for cable or your rabbit ears for a digital antenna.
