As someone that plays a lot of magic. This is one of the best things I have ever bought. It's not expensive and he will use it everytime he plays.
I own this ewriter and recommend it. While the 8.5" ones are cool, they aren't the most practical for events where they try and shove three matches to a table. This size is plenty of space for life totals and notes about their hand.
