Fulfills all of your requirements except price, but the WZR-D1800H Buffalo router is beautiful and awesome.
Simultaneous dual-band, a/b/g/n/ac, great range, and I installed DD-WRT firmware on it (a very simple process which takes about 5 minutes) which allowed very easy QoS setup, DHCP routing, port forwarding, PPTP VPN, remote and local administration via a browser... I'm in love.
I set this one up for a friend but I need one now.
If you wanted to go a bit cheaper you could do the Buffalo WZR-600DHP which also supports DD-WRT firmware and would be able to do all of the same stuff, but it isn't a draft-AC band router.
Another good idea. I will try this. I'm not sure how well it will work because I purchased the D1800H refurbished from ShopCell on Amazon, and then I sent it into Buffalo for them to fix it. So technically it doesn't have to do with Amazon or their resellers, but I will give it a try anyway.
