Some women experience dips in supply due to hormone fluctuations related to their cycle. So if you think your period is starting to come back that would be my guess. The first time my period came back I had a huge sudden dip in supply a few days before. I also had to dip into my freezer stash to get through. Once my period started my supply came right back. My lactation consultant suggested a calcium/magnesium supplement. You only have to take it right before ovulation through your period, but I just take it everyday so I don't forget.
