For what is is worth, if you do go with a larger camera, the image stabilization is very handy. The Canon 70-30mm ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040X4PQI ) has worked great - fairly compact as large telephoto lenses go.
Take a look at the Fujifilm X-T1 too, for a more compact camera.
Thanks for your response!
>you will have to spend a lot more on larger lenses
by 'larger' lens, would something like this be enough?
I am eventually going to get both new body and a lens, but I'm trying to decide which to get first since I can't afford both at the moment. I don't exclusively focus on long-range photography and I make use of 17-40mm ultra wide angle lens quite often, which apparently benefits from having a full frame...
As for the noise issue, I lose a lot of detail while taking photos in low-light environment.
This was indoors at 1600 iso , this was outdoors at 400 iso on a cloudy day, and this was outside at 400 iso with flash. These were taken with 75-300mm lens I mentioned on the post.
Would you say this is more of a lens issue or a body issue?
