I found a great deal on amazon and I'm looking to get into photography. For those who are interested, see this link
Anyway, I know that there are newer canon cameras like the 760D and the 80D. But since i found a great deal on the 70D, I'm just wondering if it's 'old'? In certain part of tech, 3 years after the initial release date of the 70D may seem like an ancient piece of technology.
Is this the same with DSLRs, or will the 70D still be good for another few years?
Edit: also, can anyone confirm if Amazon is a authorised canon retailer? I know 3rd party sellers on Amazon are usually not authorised retailers. Just being extra careful.
