ime, if i use curlers on my bob length hair it makes my hair really curly and I have better luck with curling with a straightening iron or curling iron. That being said if you want to try curlers, these steam curlers are my favorite curlers I have used. They're really gentle on the hair since they're steam, heat up easily and hold the curl, and the set comes with a varieties of sizes to play around with.

Pretty much zero damage steam rollers. The steam tames my frizz, and the curls last for days. My only suggestion is to buy an extra pack of the large rollers.

Edit: Changed buy link to cheaper bundle with fewer curlers. Most people don't care about the small rollers, so imo don't spend money on them.

Sorry about the long link but this worked wonders for my hair when I got married. The steam is great and the foam rollers are comfortable. Let them cool completely in your hair and sit. Do some trial runs and see what works. Good luck!

DON'T DO IT!

Perms are scary, scary things and very damaging for your hair. Get yourself a set of Caruso steam rollers and see what you think of that. If you don't have time for such nonsense, try letting your hair air-dry for a bit, apply a styling cream and twist it up into a few buns until it dries. Let it down, comb gently and spray. That's how I add more curl each day.

Just don't get a perm. Please.

My hair sucks. This is the only thing I have used that had excellent results!

My hair is bleached platinum and I recommend steam rollers for zero damage! There's slightly more of a learning curve than regular hot rollers (though, minimal) and I really enjoy being able to style my hair without heat. I use the Caruso rollers, I bought mine at Sally's Beauty Supply but they're on Amazon as well.
