Ancient Aliens is awesome! I've even read the book it's based off of "Chariots of the Gods".
The jump to "Aliens did it" is a bit much for me but the show makes you think. It shows you some really cool historical locations, where a group of ancient people had an understanding of the world and technology that doesn't fit into our standard historical model.
A great example would be "Pumapunku", I think whatever the truth is behind a location like this will be far more fascinating than a bunch of grey dudes showing up for no reason other than to give the History Channel something to make money off of thousands of years later.
