I think you have a great relationship with her actually! She clearly trusts you and loves you - running to you, nudging, LICKING are all significant signs of bunny trust and love.

However bunnies are hyper and energetic and they don't usually sit around for a long time cuddling. It's normal for them to run up and demand pets from you, then go run around then come again and so on... They like to be pet and cuddled by only on their terms and when they want it.

I also think your bunny is hormonal - humping and chewing are 100% hormonal. She hit puberty and her hormones are driving a lot of her behaviors now - like being more skittish, chewing and humping. You absolutely have to get her spayed - it is key for building a stronger trust bond with her, not chewing, her overall happiness and health. It's an absolute must. Please talk to you parents about having it done.

Why spaying is essential:

The thing with girls is that if not spayed their chance of developing uterine cancer is really high as that makes spaying not even optional in my opinion. The risk of cancer is very high and that is a terrible way for a bunny to die and at that time the risk of surgery becomes soooo much greater due to poor health.... I have seen it at our rescue! Do not hesitate! It is worth the risk and the cost!

Having said this, picking a GOOD rabbit savvy vet is really key here. I would do this and have a consult.

One of the best ways to find a great vet is through you local rabbit rescues. Try to google your local rabbit rescues, see what the closest House Rabbit Society chapter is. Dedicated rabbit rescues do a lot of spays and neuters (they never leave the buns unfixed) so they can always recommend a good and well priced vet. Often you can find this info right on their websites (look in different sections there) but if not an email with a question will get you a response.

For you baseboards a few suggestions:

2. you can also try this tape (but be very careful to be sure they do not chew it!) - I think it doesn't ruin paint, but try in one hidden spot to test.
   
3. You can also get some white colorplast, cut to size and attache along the baseboards with some command strips that do not damage pain and come of cleanly.
   
4. You can also use NIC storage cube grids to tie together with zip-ties and make a sort of barrier to place along the baseboards. This would work better for a room and particular spot, for a whole house I think colorplast strips are more elegant solution.
   
5. The last and most important point - bunnies are smart and they need toys to entertain them and stay out of trouble. In the absence of good things to chew they will chew the other things - chewing and digging is their natural instinct, so the solution is not to stop them, but to provide alternatives specifically meant for them to chew and dig and to reinforce them using it. Bunnies are very food-motivated so you can use food to train them to do what you want them to do. :)
   
   
   1. You have a lot of toys. But the most important thing is reinforcing and redirecting. Bunnies do really understand positive reinforcement and build positive associations when you redirect bad behavior and reward good behavior. So you have to actively and diligently train the bunny overtime not to chew and dig the wrong things. Anytime you see digging or chewing, immediately try to offer a toy or some alternative instead and reward with a small treat when it works. This does need to be done very diligently each time you see him do things like that.
