I have a set of these Conair rollers and love them. I don't use the smaller rollers. The eight larger ones do the trick, and I have pretty thick hair past my shoulders. I recommend using these clips with them instead of the wire ones that come with the set.
I've used them at home and on travel for about a year now, so I don't know if they'll last forever, but I'm very happy with them overall. They don't seem to be doing the slightest bit of damage to my hair, either.
