This is an absurdly better system for about £10 more when you factor in the ethernet wire, and it has the SSD included.

The G4560 is an excellent low, low cost, entry level CPU but the 1200 will see a big boost compared due to being quad core - it is also overclockable (very easy to do if you look on youtube for tutorials) which can bring it up to a lower end i5 (7400) or Ryzen 1300X for performance. G4560 vs 1200: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-G4560-vs-AMD-Ryzen-3-1200/3892vs3931 /// G4560 vs 1200 OC (1300X): http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-G4560-vs-AMD-Ryzen-3-1300X/3892vs3930

A 560 vs a 1060 6GB isn't even a close comparison - http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB-vs-AMD-RX-560/3639vs3926

Ryzen doesn't work well with 2133 or 2400mhz RAM, but Amazon DE have a great price on 8GB 2666mhz right now, delivery from there to Ireland is usually about €6 per item so I would reckon it should only add on about a fiver. SSD, HDD, PSU are all good, solid units.

* Monitor is less expensive and 1.8" larger, also a much better price on Windows (you might be able to get some taken off again for student discount? I know it's even free for some students in US, not sure if that extends to the UK though).

This will have you playing ultra at 1080p 60fps (or way higher for games like CSGO etc, well over 100fps) for a good number of years.

If your in the USA then yes. [2666 Mhz ram will do well with the 2200g] (https://youtu.be/3D5ahmvCceM). So you need 8gb 2666 Mhz. High quality brand

Hello i have 16GB (2x8GB) of corsair 2666Mhz DDR4

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0123ZAQJE

I can do £130 UKBT

cheers.

Although, looking on amazon, where i'm buying the parts, the 2x4gb RAM is almost $20 more than the 1x8gb. What do you think?

Edit: Prices are in pesos, if that somehow isn't apparent >_>

Corsair has a list of all Ryzen compatible RAM kits. That exact kit is not on the list. Here's the highest frequency 8GB on the list. Alternatively, here is the only 3000 MHz kit that is on the list.

I would probably go for [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-2666MHz-PC4-21300-Memory/dp/B0123ZAQJE/ref=sr_1_20?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1487643320&sr=1-20&keywords=ddr4) or [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3000MHz-PC4-24000-Memory/dp/B0123ZBPDA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1487643346&sr=8-2&keywords=ddr4+3000mhz) ram instead, cheaper and faster, I know your motherboard doesn't support that speed but if you decide to upgrade in the future, you then got faster ram on hands, as say a Z270 can support well over 3000mhz.

Otherwise all okay.

u/troggbl · 1 pointr/VRGaming

Dual 8's, things get really demanding on RAM these days, and you'll find the jump a bigger upgrade than a different CPU. Just make sure you match the specs of the one in there. Looking at that link you need to be looking for a 8gb single stick, DDR4 at 2666mhz. This is amazon as an example to show you the sort of thing you need.

Edit:To answer
>is that a thing you can do even?

By the looks of it the motherboard in that supports upto 64GB of RAM in 4x16gb configuration. So yes and with plenty to spare :)

Hi guys. I’m doing my first build ever.

I bought a CORSAIR Vengeance (1x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MH stick of ram with the intention of getting another 8gb stick of ram to add on to it in the future.

Do I need to get a specific type of ram? Do I need to get the same type I’ve already purchased?

Thanks for the help
