I have had every single thing not strapped to my body stolen from me at work. Stethoscope, thermometer, pulse oximeter, flashlight, pens galore, my dignity and more. Seriously, everything I bring to work is strapped to my body via a lanyard. My stethoscope occupies three positions - around my neck, employed as a stethoscope or on my dresser at home. Pulse Ox - on a lanyard, scissors - on a lanyard, flashlight - on a lanyard, pen (yes, PEN!) on a lanyard. I went through a hundred BIC pens in three months. No longer. I have a singular pen, on a lanyard, and I will use it until the ink runs out. Then I will use the next in the box of a dozen pens attached to a lanyard. I figure I'm good for a lifetime here.
Not a Vamo, but I bought a bunch of these for my eVic. All I had to do was stick it through the hole in the battery cap and tie a knot. Simple and cheap. If it breaks I have 50 more to replace it.
