Reddit mentions of Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy

I don't believe that he acted alone and I believe there's a chance he was a 'patsy' as he claimed.

In any case, there are a lot of people who feel strongly that he did and that he didn't, and there is a lot of evidence on both sides.

A few things I believe:

• If he acted alone, the Warren Commission findings are still bullshit.
  
  
• Crossfire, by Jim Marrs is a pretty good book.
  
  
• Oliver Stone's JFK is a good and entertaining film. It certainly takes several creative liberties, but I still think it does a good job of capturing the essence of the case for conspiracy.
  
  I won't pretend to be a devout JFK scholar, but my father spent YEARS researching it, including speaking to a lot of the authors and scholars on the subject...maybe that's material for an IAmA? I'll let y'all be the judge of that.

I agree, that it sounds more like covet, but the word covert makes much more sense in the context of the rest of this speech.

Like the speech "The President and the Press", Executive Order 11110 is usually distorted and important information is missing. Add to this the fact, that one member of the Warren Commission was John J. McCloy, who had also served as the head of the world bank and you get the impression that powerful bankers were the masterminds behind JFK's assassination. Jim Marrs and his prominent book Crossfire is partly to blame. Jim Marrs's interpretation of Executive Order 11110 has been picked up by many other conspiracy researchers and documentaries like Zeitgeist.
