He’s 15.5 weeks now. We got him at 13 weeks. If you look up my previous post in here, I had some concerns getting him, mainly crate and potty training. He’s been nearly perfect with both since we got him. He sleeps overnight in the crate for a minimum of 9 hours, sometimes going in himself at night when he’s ready, and most days that seems like it’s not even enough and I have to lure him out to wake him up and get our day started. During the day he lasts up to 3.5-4 hours in there without making a peep, and he can probably stay in longer but we’re always available to get him out and play by then. I honestly feel like we’re using a cheat code with how good he’s been (knock on wood). He does chew random stuff when he’s out, but hasn’t ruined anything yet cause he’s always being watched and I can kinda tell he’s learning what not to chew already. I taught him to sit the fourth day we had him which got me really excited, but other commands are proving to be trickier, as when he’s awake he’s very energetic and gets distracted with all of his toys. My gf and I have a shared note and we document every single potty, nap, etc he does and we try to keep the same schedule every day. It’s working very well so far.

My two Italian greyhounds were never this easy. Both hated the crate and would potty in it and the house often, especially at this young of an age.

That’s the harness he has. It’s very soft on the inside so it doesn’t irritate him. He’s just under 15 pounds now and is wearing an XS.

His name is Carbon and he’s awesome.
