I reccomend a fireman hose nozzle. We've had one for 2 years and it still looks and performs exactly as it did. It sits out in the sun all summer fall and I have a habit of constantly dropping it onto our concrete driveway and sidewalk.
This one is brass with rubber edges, EDIT: but made in china. The other manufactutrer is bon-aire, they come in green, titanium grey, or red and as far as I know are USA made. I have seen many different knock-off of these but as far as construction they are all basically identical.
