There are way more than this but these are all I can think of off the top of my head. Some are Dragon PoV because I strongly prefer to read those.
How about some beautiful books for children translated from german authors?
Magic Moon by Wolfgang and Heike Hohlbein is a great series for everybody growing up. It's about a young boy that gets transported into another world where he has to save his sister. It tackles some essential things in life like death or "evil" and makes a point in using forgiveness rather than vengeance.
My favorite children's book would be Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke. It's a beautiful adventure about a young dragon and his friends (a kobold and an orphan) that are searching for a place where the dragons can live in peace from humans. It's a heartwarming story that grips you and doesn't let go until the very end.
Might be Dragon Rider, by Cornelia Funke
This book was pretty great for me a kid: Dragon Rider
It's a great fantasy. It may seem a bit big and pretty long, but it's easy to understand and the concept is good.
Looking back, I think this may hvve been one of my favorite books. I really liked the fantasy world.
This Frozen book
