Drink bottled water (Aqua brand), and don't drink tap even if you are at a hotel. Boil the water first. Bring some carbon pills, just in case of disaster (e.g. diarrhea), and one of these oral rehydration packages.
I always tell people who travel to SE Asia (especially Indo) to be a little more careful with what they eat and drink. But eating street food is an experience. Do it, but go easy.

Pedialyte is amazing stuff. It has a ton of uses and has some great electrolytes that can boost your mood
