I started out by ordering this mahogany dugout https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KQRKV6O/ref=pd_aw_sim_201_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1XB7G32ZR24TRPSRQ2C5 from Amazon. It has a sliding Dovetail lid, so it's pretty smell proof. I wasn't sure if it was going to be long enough. When I got it it looked like it would be just long enough, but only by a few millimeters.http://i.imgur.com/h2fqJsS.jpg I don't trust my drilling skills enough, and I lack a bit that would get me close enough without punching thru the bottom, so I extended the length just a little bit. http://i.imgur.com/2qN8RFC.jpg I used some walnut that I had leftover from a house my father in law and I built. The stairs came out quite nice, https://imgur.com/oj8BTz4 and now I always have a reminder of that job, a piece of the staircase in my pocket. The stash came with two extra lids and some sandpaper, but I wanted the bottom and top to match so I sanded down a piece of walnut for the lid also. http://i.imgur.com/pfiIG2O.jpg The stash compartment is really good size. http://i.imgur.com/83i3CIY.jpg I did hafta drill out quite a bit to get the vapcaps to fit. Added a magnet I had laying around.
