Copy/Paste from another thread. I've been running this POE switch and NVR for about a month now w/o any issue. Just throw a big drive in the NVR and you're good to go:

How many cameras? In large installations, I would use a PoE switch like this one and connect the PoE switches to a gigabit switch. This gives more than 10 mb of bandwidth per channel on the PoE switches, with each switch having tons of bandwidth to the NVR from the gigabit switch forward.
I must have been confused then. I see on another thread this item was recommended; what say you?
