First.....go to a real doctor, not us armchair specialists on reddit.

Secondly, are you Asian? Cause a lot of Asians have wax that needs picked out, vice q-tips...a whole industry has grown up around it. Wikipedia article on wet vs dry earwax Curette kits, Japanese Ear Salon, known as "Mimikaki", The first time my husband tried to stick an ear-wax picker in our son's ear I lost my shit. Turns out it's a normal thing.

So, anyway, as someone who has (as a result of having half-Asian, half-white babies) become an armchair expert on ear wax build up, my advice:

Use Debrox liberally. It's not a soap, it's like mineral oil. Put it in one ear, lay down on your side on the couch with that ear up so you don't leak everywhere and watch a movie. Or do it over night. Then get a syringe and use lukewarm water--i caution you, LUKEWARM OR COLD, too hot will make you get dizzy--and spray it into your ear like a jetstream. It feels amazing, trust. When you're done, dump a capful of rubbing alcohol in your ear. When you tilt your head to drain the rubbing alcohol, any remaining water in your ear should be washed out (I am a swimmer, this is a swim team trick).

Your family practice doc can do the water spray if you're uncomfortable doing it yourself. It's called irrigating your ears.

Hope you feel better.

EDIT: upon rereading your OP, I would maybe NOT do the self-irrigation if you're bleeding. Doc may have punctured your ear drum while ripping compacted wax out of your canal. A jet stream of water will obviously not help that.
