I am about to do this mod. Did you put heatsinks on vrms as well? If so, what fin height heatsink did you use?

Edit: sorry just saw the photos. Looks like you aren't cooling your vrm. This kit should help. The 8mm heatsinks should fit over the vrms and the 14mm fit on the vram. Use thermal conductive glue too, because the tape sometimes is not thermally conductive, even though manufacturer says it is. Only use a very very thin layer of glue or it'll be on there permanently

Edit2: also, need to ensure air movement directly over vrm/vram heatsinks. If you have a side-panel-mounted fan those help a ton. If not, there's plent of janky ways to get air on er
