Related to the topic at hand, I bought this book a couple weeks ago right after I started writing my first screenplay:

Ebert's Bigger Little Movie Glossary

Basically just a big book of movie cliches, chosen by Roger Ebert. Book is very light, and worth a read for burgeoning screenwriters, in my opinion.
