The Parker 24C is an open comb safety bar design and a good razor. The rest of them are all the same razor head on different handles, so pick the handle you like best. They have a straight safety bar rather than an open comb, and are also good shavers.
Both of these razor head designs are more modern and efficient than the Merkur 34C, or any Merkur razor, for that matter. You won't go wrong with any of them.

I am a big fan of my Edwin Jagger DE89 Safety Razor, very well built and perfect for me. I got mine in a sale on amazon for £15. But I think it is a personal thing. I just don't get along with Parker razors and others love them. I have to agree with everyone about the brush, I got the very same one and replaced it after my first shave.
