The motherboard is good. It has USB 3.0 and it is an AM3+ socket which will allow you to upgrade to the Bulldozer when it comes out.
As for the memory, the following will work just fine. You really don't need a heat spreader unless you are going to overclock the memory.

The HD 5770 you picked is good, but if you want to save a bit of money, the EVGA GTS 450 is also good. They are both similar cards and the HD 5770 performs only slightly better than the GTS 450.
