I love my gtx 1070 but I could not stand the backplate as the colors sort of clashed with my overall build and I thought "Push the limit" is pretty damn cheesy. This took about an hour to plan because I was afraid of fucking up my case/GPU, but going through with it took 5 minutes.

Highly recommend this mod as it's fairly cheap and you only need 1 tool. The PCIE extension was only $27 and for that price you can make your build look 100x better.

GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme

Case: NZXT S340

Nah it's this one from Amazon it will not match the screw holes and will be crooked. So I just put a piece of petg tubing to prop the card that I saw someone did before.

Little to none at all on the good ones. Look for the ones that say high speed or high bandwidth x16.

This is the exact one I am using.

I'm using this until the official one that locks into the PSU shroud is available. Even then I might stick with it just because this one looks fine.

i went with the one below, was only $25. But holes dont line up. So I made a platform for it with double sided tape. Then I didnt want the tape showing so I cut a piece of acrylic and painted white and put as trim under the gpu block, it came out nice. But you can do it a different way so you dont need the acrylic, but for me I used ugly tape.

The big res was annoying but ek only has 150 to 250 and I thought 150 was small. maybe another companies 200ml would be better. it got really tight at top of res, filling was tough but it is doable. If you get a 30mm rad for top rad it should fit.

yes of course there is cheaper - BUT cheaper means crappier!! You would likely WANT it to work yes? That means you want a Shielded cable..

Also what length do you want /need?

Would one of those pciex16 90* vertical mounts fit?

Or maybe an extension and either macgyver a mount or just leave the card looseygoosey in the case.

16x riser cable with 90 degree end

16x 90 degree adapter

One of those should be what you are looking for, the right angle adapter would fit in the slot and then you could use a regular cable.

Since this case has everything already set up you just need a PCI Express extension. Below is the name of the one I got from Amazon and the link as well.

i know this is late...but you may try this

you have to mod it though, mine just using some double sided tape, zip ties and an acrylic board since the case screw stand-up doesn't aligned with it and needed some lift to align with the pcie vertical slot

Is this the riser you are referring to ? My Case and parts are coming in tommorow. I am wondering if I should just buy this and forget the hassle of changing it later if it goes bad or w/e :|

I have heard decent thing of their "Premium" cables, but also some faulty ones there as well. There is an enormous thread on their forum of complaints.

I ended up doing a little research and buying this one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0731F743X/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&th=1

It has been working great for a while now

The NZXT H500i has mounting slots for the graphics card. However, the pcie cable has to be bought separately. I used this one:

OK, so I have a decent rig for most of what I want to play (3.4 gHz i7, 8 Gig of RAM, and a GT 1030).

My case is an old Dell T1700 small form factor. That's my limiting factor since a lot of SFF cards are really expensive.

Could I use something like this and run it out the back of my PC and build something for ventilation and dust for a full sized card?
