I echo the recommendations for all of the John Byrne run, but the best place to start if you want to get hooked for life? They recently published a giant-sized hardcover of "Behold....Galactus", reprinting the early Galactus appearances in the largest size ever. Looking at the artwork in the biggest possible way is an experience words fail me. However, if you're just trying out the FF for the first time, they reprinted the same stories in a regular-sized trade. Amazon has it for just under $17.
