I did add a rail to the foregrip for a flashlight, This is the set I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CCNM988?ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage&redirect=true&psc=1&pldnSite=1

Besides that, no other mods as of yet. Although i would like to replace the stock at some point.

The shotgun disassembles like a normal ak for the most part. The manual that comes with the gun shows the necessary disassembly steps. The only thing that is real different from a normal ak is the gas plug/regulator assembly; which again is shown in the manual.

As far as cleaning, I clean it like a normal rifle/shotgun, about every 3 trips or so, I will pull the gas regulator out and clean it off because carbon likes to build up around it until you cannot change the gas settings.

That is not a big deal because I just shoot everything on #3 (full open), at some point I may try to polish the bolt and other surfaces to improve reliability with the weaker ammo.

All in all I would say get it if you can, some would say to save your money and get a Vepr 12 and I can't say for certain that it is a better gun; since I have never held/shot one.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that if you remove the gas regulator, you will need to take care when reassembling the gun that you align the selector knob with with the correct size hole in the regulator. IIRC, you could have the knob say you are on setting 0, when in fact you are on setting 3.
After work tonight I will take some pics of the gas regulator and link them here. That way you can see what I am talking about.
