Definitely move the tv. We have our tv relatively level with the bed but I ended up putting a few books under it to get it right. The middle of the tv is is like top of my head level rather than eye level of that helps you at all.
If you prefer to sit up to watch make sure you adjust it for that. Similarly if you move positions a lot you could put it on something similar to a standing desk type podium where you only need to lift a lever to raise or lower the monitor/tv.

I have something very similar to this one from Amazon: fitueyes standing desk. It has lasted two years, and is fairly study, but cheap enough that I expect I'll leave it behind when I'm through.
