I bought a single foremost from amazon. It's the right size for LPs and easy to assemble.

My spouse and I own a three bedroom home. One room is the bedroom we share, then we each have our own rooms which serve as our respective offices and in my case, my temple room. I have a dedicated wiccan altar which I have had for many, many years. The room is painted with a stone-like texture with a faux occulus on the ceiling surrounded by the zodiacal symbols.

With my Golden Dawn work, I added a double cubical altar built out of two of these storage cubes. That altar moves from being in the east to being in the center, depending on my needs. I have made the Banners of the East and West which hang off a bookcase and a mirror, respectively.

I built some of the cheesiest pillars you have ever seen and I'm not sure how much longer they will last. I used four 22"x28" poster boards, two black, two white. They are rolled into tubes the long way, then one of each fitted over the top of its matching cylinder. The red tetrahedrons on top are cut and formed from some red plastic folders. They are lightweight and portable enough that I took them over to another temple space not long ago. My cohorts were amused as I set them up, but after they were fully assembled, the consensus was that they weren't half bad after all.

When I did the Portal ritual from the Cicero Self-Initiation book, I hung up several sheer curtains across the entire width of my temple. That stayed up for a few days and it was really amazing in here while it was up. So as not to damage my paint/mural work, though, the curtain was hung up by small plastic hangers attached to the walls and ceiling with large amounts of blue painter's tape. It was a temporary arrangement, but one which served the purpose quite well.

My room is a multipurpose space though there is no doubt that its primary purpose is "temple."

There are plenty of inexpensive options. Milk crates work. Something like this is the perfect size for records as well:

Keeping your records stacked like that can lead to them warping over time.

I've used these storage cubes before. Unless you've got really heavy speakers they should hold up. And you can store records in them.

I have a couple of these guys.

They're the perfect size to hold records, and I have my receiver and turntable on top of them. They stack fairly well and come with fasteners to attach them together.

I store my records in these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O1FROO

I don't have room for big shelves so these are nice...no organizaing I just throw everything in together. Have been thinking about outer sleeves...

I have a laptop dock and two monitors so you can consider this based on your own needs, but I bought two of these, which I put the monitors on:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O1FROO/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and one of these, which I put my keyboard and mouse on:

I have just recently started collecting Vinyl. I found the perfect solution for vinyl storage on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O1FROO/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's cheap, it prime eligable, and they stack so as your collection grows you can get more. I have to say that my most prized records is a signed copy of Rancid2000. My favorite record to listen to is "under great white norhtern lights" by the white stripes on 180 gram vinyl.

These work well: amazon

Instead, I bought these because I liked the idea of the door on the front, but you do end up with less usable space.

u/setofallsets · 2 pointsr/vinyl

These guys.

They aren't going to win any competitions as far as strength and build quality are concerned, but they're cheap, are exactly the right size, and look decent.

u/boredinballard · 1 pointr/vinyl

I got two of these.

They were cheap and with Prime shipping got it real fast. They seem pretty solid and have decent reviews. They are modular, but only vertically. I would recommend if you are on a budget. Also, it comes in white, black, or natural wood.

u/burritosandblunts · 1 pointr/vinyl

Well I say wood, but it's more of that crappy particle board stuff. They work really great though.

Looks more like $12 but the prices fluctuate. I've got 4 of them now. They easily link together.

Thanks for the graphite tip! I think I'll try that because the burning probably isn't doable for this material.

$15 shelf from Amazon: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O1FROO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

I have 3 of these (gonna need a 4th soon) on my shelves.

The curing chamber is an open cube used for making shelves that I coated with a roll of vinyl mirror sticker in the inside. I cut a hole in the top and inserted a LED curing lamp. Since the box is made of hollow boards, the top hole is larger and the inside hole is a step for the lamp to rest on. I made a door out of scrap plywood and painted it black and attached it to the box with a piano hinge. Then I lined the edge of the inside of the door with weather stripping and added a magnetic clasp and printed a knob on my form 2. Add in a solar turntable to rotate the parts and you are good to go!

The finishing kit is nice because it contains the mess of cleaning the parts in IPA after you take them off of the build tray.

I use 4 of these: Foremost 327606 Modular Open Cube Storage System, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000O1FROO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_OsfszbZ9C6P3M

Fairly cheap quality and some assembly required but they've served me well and are easy to stack. I have no complaints for the price.

u/Grundelwald · 1 pointr/vinyl

I have a bunch of these from Amazon. Mostly I have these blank ones, but I have the drawers and door ones to hold accessories like sleeves and brushes.

u/try_another4 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Yay, your first contest! Soon as I can get some money, I am so ready to hold my first one :)

I need this Lazy Susan-type deal to make a spinning cube with this (just so you know why I'd like the first thing) from my college wishlist :)
