Assumptions, assumptions.

There are four doctrines of hell in Christianity, no agreement on which is true, and only one of those doctrines is "eternal conscious torment."

One of the other doctrines is called "universalism," and it's just as Christian as any other interpretation.

If God's will is perfect and absolute...

And the entire universe must ultimately be reconciled to God...

And God is truly not willing that any should perish...

Then some form of universal salvation is a logical requirement.

There is no certain argument that Christ's death didn't actually start the process of Creation's complete redemption, or that his death didn't accomplish it in that moment.

Christianity's plan isn't to rule. It's to have everyone come with us.
