> Nope. Straw man. It's not about the legality of slavery, but its execution.

Straw man. You didn't even look. Head over to the time when the industrial was happening and you'll see a lot of 'abolish slave trade'.

>The personal computer?
based on federal researches.
The smartphone?

What about Edison's inventions?

I can link books for my arguments as well.

>based on Edison ;)

Under capitalism ;)

>For example. And less harmful than the working conditions under capitalism.
>nah, more like destroying their lungs in the textile industry.

Straw man argument, all you need is to think about why they were not in school. Maybe they couldn't afford it? Would you rather see them starve on the streets?

"In a free economy, where no man or group of men can use physical coercion against anyone, economic power can be achieved only by voluntary means: by the voluntary choice and agreement of all those who participate in the process of production and trade." With these words Ayn Rand demonstrated to me the profound difference between the power of an industrialist in a free market and the power of a bureaucrat wielding the arbitrary whim of law. When I was initially exposed to her ideas in 'The Virtue of Selfishness,' I knew the moment I started reading the first essay that I had in my hands something truly revolutionary. A light had switched on.

Many individuals make the mistake of staking claim to a political side, left or right, based on shallow criteria. They want to fit into a particular clique or be thought of as a particular type of person so they select their politics accordingly. Essentially, the mistake is in ignoring the other branches of philosophy such as epistemology and ethics on which a proper politics should be based... So many arguments for government action are knee-jerk in nature; "That's bad. There aught to be a law!" [Ayn Rand] not only explains clearly how government works and why it grows, but also that when it grows it grows more unethical or even corrupt.

The world is a better place than it has ever been but it is built on a false foundation that will fail. We have demonized that which is moral (profit) and lionized that which is immoral (theft). I urge you to read a book written by my two favorite atheists, Free Market Revolution.

I spent many years of my life searching for the truths that these men lay out so eloquently in this book. If this book was recommended to me at 18 and I was smart enough to take the advice (I was a determined idiot at 18) it would have changed my life and who knows I might have changed the world.
