Also, I think your RAM is 2400, I linked 3200 ones because faster RAM is better with Ryzen, but you can drop down to 3000 if you want for cheaper.

Haven’t gotten mine yet, but by most accounts it is good ram. Seems about the top value right now. You can get faster timings in b-die stuff but it will cost you 50% more.

Best deal I could find is this. Does this seem reasonable? I'm sure it's cheaper on Newegg but I'd prefer to buy it from Amazon as a matter of convenience.

Luckily I already have a good chunk of parts already to salvage from my main PC right now. I am salvaging my 240 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD which is self explanatory, and for the actual PC I am salvaging from is my Dell XPS 8700 for context. (And a clean wipe of Windows to go with it)

For the parts that I listed, you get a mobo that works out of the box without flashing your bios and a faster RAM speed at 3200 MHz.

Question on ram - g.skill ripjaws v series 8gbx2 (16gb) item description says only for Intel z170 platform, but I also saw reviews saying it works on zen 1?
