This is the set up i currently have on my bike. I got a refurbished Garmin Virb XE for around $150 for my front facing camera and a $ 30 Midland XTC 280 Camera for my rear,(I contacted the Manufacturer to ask if they have spare batteries and they were nice enough to send a couple of batteries for no cost as they discontinued this model).

This set up works great as both my front and rear cameras record at 1080P and its much cheaper than cycliq cameras which costs around $480 for front and rear. Having said that, i am a cheapskate, Cycliq cameras are great and have mostly heard good things about them except the price :).
