In order of what would be my preference, each price drop means you get fewer features in the chipset but all 3 should have adequate performance for standard gaming.
It is a desktop, custom built. I'll link to you the products to save you some time.

All modern motherboards will run your graphics card. I personally like the gigabyte

I built you computer that I think will last you quite sometime. It's a bit over your budget but if you can get some more money it will be worth it in the long run.

Total: $430 - A lot of these products are on sale right now so it could be more or less come buying the parts.
Like I said this is a build on the higher price point but it will work well for you for another 7-10 years.
I want to upgrade my gaming PC. I'm looking at the AMD FX-8320 and a Gigabyte 970 Motherboard to upgrade my computer a bit (I'll then later get Memory and a video card). Any suggestions? Would it be better for me to snag an i5 during black Friday and grab a mobo later? I have about $220 to spend. Suggestions?

edit: I've been looking at the Fx-6300 as well. Is it worth the extra $30-$40 for the FX-8320?
