Some advice from an anxious adult who once was a severely anxious child:

Have you tried or worry dolls, or worry eaters? One thing I do as an adult is write my fears or stressors on pieces of paper, then destroy it: be it by fire, water, or ripping it up in the trash. These toys might be a less fiery alternative ;)

If she's fixated on something, it's okay to address the problem and explain the realities of it. I'm not sure the appropriate age to address death, as I had to handle a the death of a family member and triple homicide of friends at that age, but explaining what would happen is a good thing. I remember asking what would happen if my parents died, and they told me that my neighbor would come live with me for a few days while my auntie and uncle traveled to come to get us, and that we'd stay in the house as long as it was safe, with our family. They explained where the animals would go, and that sort of thing. I'm not sure if you're religious, but bringing in stories about visiting "angels" might offer some comfort too. I used to think that clouds were my friends visiting me, and that made me feel like it was less of a loss. Don't go reading Bridge to Terbithia unless you think she's ready, but inviting the problem and solving some uncertainties will likely help :)

Worry Dolls https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MZH27U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_NNluybA00K950 : these are super small and could hide in a pillowcase for a sleepover, or in a school bag... I linked the one for just a single bag, but I buy them in bulk sometimes when students or people I work with are struggling.

Can put your worries inside the stuffed animal, or possibly hide a warm message from parents ;) apparently also comes in keychain form. You probably could get the same effect with any little pouch you could let her design, (I'd throw in some magic to it)
