I did see the following app on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/HomeRunTV/dp/B00GVEAK7C/ref=sr_1_2?s=mobile-apps&ie=UTF8&qid=1474554598&sr=1-2&keywords=hdhomerun+view) - no clue if that is what you are looking for regarding the Fire TV.

One of the big features for us in choosing the Fire TV over the Roku (no Amazon support eliminates the Apple TV for us), is the ability to use Bluetooth headsets with it. I know Roku has a headphone jack in the remote, but I find it puts a drain on the batteries, and you are "tied" to the remote. Just my opinion.
