Lately these bad boys. They fit well in a jersey pocket and they're delicious!
I use Nuun electrolyte tablets with 16oz of water during workouts (usually two or three water bottles) and will have one scoop of ON Gold Standard protein powder with 8oz of milk after workouts.
The protein shake can hold me over for about 20-30 minutes before I really need to eat something.
Out of curiosity, have you tried stinger waffles on your bike rides?
