or instead of approximating, you can hold 24 cards for half the price. With out fear of them slipping out or bouncing around inside.

u/xseedusa · 13 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Cartridge cases like this hold so many games it's not really that much of a problem. You would get prime savings and awesome cases as well.

u/pretenderist · 6 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I meant something like this that would save space in their bag when traveling.

u/deltasalmon · 5 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I use the HORI Game Card Case 24 which is sadly filling up faster than I would have hoped...

u/Lord_Burrito666 · 5 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I have two Hori Game Cases that store 24 games, or so. I had all my games in one of them, then I started buying games enough to fill the second one. By the time I filled the second one, I said screw it, and started putting all my games back in their original game cases. It's too much money invested to have them all in these storage cases that are easily stealable. I don't travel heavy with my Switch, but if I do, I just put a few games in one of my Hori Game Cases for the trip itself and I'm good to go. But travelling with / storing ALL my physical games? Not my thing anymore. I have a lot of RPGs I'd like to keep in good condition, not get stolen, as well. :)

Here's what I used: https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z/

Not shitting on this, but in the album you say other options are bulky and don't provide the same density.

There isn't a place yet. I'm hoping to change this so I can print and ship out these prints to people :). I'm so humbled that others like the design. xD

If you wanted to have one printed by one of the 3D printing companies. I do plan on releasing the 3d design so you can still get one some how :p.

One other disclaimer, if you don't have this case, more specifically one of the black card holders from this case: https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z

You're gonna have a bad time (insert South Park meme here)

I will try to design the game card holder at some point so it can be a stand alone product :)

I have the RDS Deluxe case, and really like it! I work at a library and occasionally bring the entire system in for a program, and it comfortably holds the tablet with joycons attached, dock, pro controller, AC brick and HDMI cables... I can fit the joycon grip in one of the slightly curved slots in the top left and right (I usually tuck the AC brick in the other).

There's also enough space that I can bring along, without worry, a second set of joycons, all four joycon straps, and a Hori game case. I just tuck these things in and between the Switch itself and the dock. I face the Switch screen towards the front of the case, and while I do have a screen protector on it, nothing has ever gotten scratched -- with the case zipper shut, it holds everything snugly enough. I'm not sure where you live, but I was able to pick one up at Target in the US (Oregon), and it was nice not to have to wait on shipping.

That being said, the reviews that mention it having kind of a weird smell are totally true. I left it open and airing for a day or two before use and it doesn't bother me/I don't notice it anymore.

Just in case check out what others said about that.
Amazon Reviews "Bend"

u/jcancellier · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Something like this? It holds 24 Switch cartridges including a couple of sd cards!

u/D-Funk187 · 2 pointsr/gamecollecting

Thats a pretty cool case! I use the snug ones though. The Hori ones that hold 24. I'm use to these though because i used the similar DS and 3DS ones for years. Haven't had any issues and have 8 of them filled up now. https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=SJRL7137QVO6&keywords=hori+game+case+for+nintendo+switch&qid=1555868245&s=gateway&sprefix=hori+game+case&sr=8-3

I currently use a combination of the following:

Case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XRV344R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7JjUCbZPNHNGA

2x HORI Switch Game Card Case https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kLjUCbHYH2M87

Both Hori cases fit perfectly in the top of the switch case and allow for 67 games to be carried at any one time (plus one additional in the console itself)

u/PixeledBrain · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Im getting my switch in about a week and a half, so i've started to look for accesories, and I think i need some help :P

Initially ill be getting Mario Kart, so im going to buy the official Joy Con Wheel x2 thing.

I was also going to buy a carrying case, and I saw this one, which looked nice.

The last thing I was going to buy for now was a screen protector, since i've heard they can get scratched easily when placing/removing the console from the dock, so I was thinking of buying this one. I also saw a Hori screen protector, but it has horrible reviews (Mostly complaining about it unsticking at the bottom of the switch because of the heat when being docked).

So, are these good choices or should I buy some other one instead?

Also, ill probably end up buying a controller, however, I find the pro controller to be too expensive, so I was thinking of buying the Hori one which is much more affordable, but is it any good? Are there any other good controllers? And I was looking at Hori stuff, so I stumbled upon the Playstand, and the game case. Are they worth buying?

Sorry if this comment is too big, im very hyped for the Switch, and I dont want to ruin my experience with bad accesories =)

EDIT: I forgot to ask, Is a big SD Card worth it? How much space would you recommend if it is?

Screen protector and a case for the switch is the only thing I can think of. And oh... the 24 games case that can also hold 2 extra sd cards. Its this one. They sell them at gamestop or electronic stores for super cheap, totally worth it accessory. :) https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z

u/Newman4185 · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I got the travel case (official) that has room for the dock and got this little case for the games: https://smile.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=mp_s_a_1_3

The official travel case comes with game holders too but they don't snap in. https://smile.amazon.com/NINTENDO-SWITCH-DELUXE-SECURELY-COMPLETE-INCLUDING/dp/B01N23OP50/ref=sxin_6_osp3-68a663fa_cov

u/CorvosKK · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I'm going to see if I can find them, but would you happen to have links to them? Are they the same as the actual game cases with the outer sleeves?

EDIT:

Is this what you were referring to?

I was thinking something more like the old Club Nintendo cases that were actually the same size as the games themselves.

u/JoshuaJSlone · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

There are card cases like this one, but if you mean specifically cases that match the shape of a regular game case I don't know any.

u/the_number_19 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

For game cases, I've always wanted one of these(ordering it now in fact). It holds 12 cases. Problem is I have 13 physical right now, and by the end of the year I'll be around 18. So I'll need another one of these soon enough.

Now I don't keep the cartridges in the individual cases. The cases are more for display. For the game carts, I can't recommend this productenough! I have 1 and will be getting a 2nd when my physical library exceeds 24 games. It's cheap and holds 24 games nice and securely, or you can do 23 games and store an SD card in a slot.

u/kaeyay · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I typically carry a drawstring bag on me, so I'll stuff my Switch in a conveniently sized beanie (beanie because the few seconds saved from not zipping open/closed a case is pretty sweet), then place that into my bag.

Physicals go into a Hori game case I bought off Amazon and, if I want to bring the dock to another friend's place, I too will bring along a grocery bag lying around.

u/caprimulgusAU · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I probably wouldn't do it, because you might damage the contacts that way. I guess if you really wanted to, you could perhaps have them in some sort of individual sleeve/case, even if it's just a piece of paper, to avoid the contacts getting scratched (although, that might defeat the purpose of having them together in a pouch?).

Or at least have them held flat together in some way (rubber band?), to stop them scratching each other.

Personally, I just use Hori game cases (the 12 game one, but they also come in 24 game capacity) and smaller 4-game cases for more portability (or to lend games to people).

I have 2 of these:

https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=switch+card+case+hori&qid=1554276238&s=videogames&sr=1-3

And 2 of these:

https://www.amazon.com.au/Baosity-Switch-Gaming-Storage-Holder/dp/B07KQRDW4S/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=switch+game+case+4+games&qid=1554276364&s=videogames&sr=1-1

I believe you can also get small cases that hold 1 or 2 games. Maybe you could get a whole bunch of those, and carry those in your pouch?

u/lbutterrs · 1 pointr/vita

Try the Hori Switch game case (Amazon link). Games fit according to this thread.

u/StimulatorCam · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I have one of these cases that I got for free when I bought MK8D. The product description says "4.7 x 1.2 x 6.1 inches", but I'm pretty sure that should be cm.

u/Carcass1 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

If you have a lot of physical games, pick up one of these cartridge cases up for sure. They’re a life saver for me. Compact and fit all my games that don’t fit into my case.

Also, i’d just get an extra set of joycons if you don’t have an extra set already. I’ve heard of drift problems and know it doesn’t make games unplayable, just annoying. If yours happens to do it and (assuming you’re originally in NA) you can’t send it in to get fixed right away, this way you’d still be able to play without an annoying drift issue.

u/AdamCodesmith · 1 pointr/Switch

I got one of these that i put in my bag to work (or switch bag if taking dock etc)

HORI Switch Game Card Case - Black (Nintendo Switch) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_U9tTzb2BVR0KS

Not 100% loss proof but helps and has lots of room for all the games

u/Garish2 · 1 pointr/SwitchHacks

I can't take another photo yet but this is the case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HORI-Switch-Game-Card-Case/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1537085939&sr=8-6&keywords=switch+game+case

But in all honesty, I wouldn't suggest buying it just for this reason. The only reason I used this was because I already had everything at hand unused and just decided to bodge it all up, it's rather large and clunky but gets the job done without having to spend any more cash haha.

u/Cregavitch · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

this seems to be the best game case out there, but doesn't look like its as compact or thin as the case you mentioned. Might be worth waiting a little bit to see if anyone are producing are thin game case if you really need it to be thin and compact, this still should fit in a bag or a coat pocket though

u/MetalPug79 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I have that same Sheika Slate Switch case that came with LoZ:BotW Master Set... I can fit 3 of these cases by Hori...

https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=Nintendo+Switch+game+case&qid=1559112276&s=gateway&sr=8-3

Each holds 24 carts, and they’re not thin cases, they’re about an inch thick. 2 will fit under the netting, and the 3rd fits right next to them, it’s just not under the net. As long as you don’t want anything else in the case to also carry, 3 will fit just fine. Just a suggestion.

Get a travel case to keep all the game cards you play all the time in.

For example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_5PDVBbRQMF3ER

u/FuriousFalcon · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

If I actually get enough physical games that require storage, I'll probably keep them in a separate case, something like https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Game-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01NASY99Z/.

u/ModestAmoeba · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I got this case off Amazon and it's just over half full. Most of my games are digital, so I won't need a bigger one for quite a while. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01NASY99Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GDImDbW2XBR2Z

u/Haraxter · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Have you considered something more like this then? It should fit right into your case and keeps your games accessible. While a second game slot on the Switch would actually be pretty handy stuff like this is a close second.
