I bought this because I upgraded to an SSD and wanted some extra permanent storage. After searching a lot for the Y50 and turning up with nothing (in terms of what will sit flush), I measured myself and found this product. It's short enough to fit flush with the laptop and also able to get out with my fingernail.

If you are interested in the measurement, a 23mm card seems to fit the best.
>-Intel Celeron N3350 (has pretty good reviews, think it's the best attribute of the netbook)
It's pretty bad, on par with a mid range laptop of a decade ago in short bursts, then gets slower when it hits power/temperature limits from being fanless.
>-2 GB DDR3 L RAM: This is the problem I'm guessing, I'll upgrade it to 4GB I'm thinking.
For multiple tabs being slow, yep, this is your main limitation. Can't upgrade it though, it's soldered to the motherboard and there's no slot for expansion.
>-eMMC 32GB: Low, but easy to solve, what's the best way to do that? I was thinking on putting an SD card to save files and that's pretty much it.
If you don't mind slow an SD card is fine. Note the reader on the side of most laptops leaves the card sticking out a bit, you can get short MicroSD to SD adapters that don't stick out as much, then add any regular microSD https://www.amazon.com/HW-Pro-Shortening-Macbooks-Raspberry-Adafruit/dp/B01CCJ63Z2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1486987683&sr=8-3&keywords=half+micro+sd+adapter
Okay, here is what I ended up doing. I purchased the following MicroSD Adapter: http://www.amazon.com/HW-Pro-Shortening-Macbooks-Raspberry-Adafruit/dp/B01CCJ63Z2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
I knew it was going to be slightly to short, so I improvised and used a couple of stickers cut to size to form a make shift tab, which works just fine for my needs:
